Admin Aide de Camp
SpecificsSometimes our admin team needs a little more help when things are busy.
Time CommitmentProbably just a few hours a month to fit in with your schedule.
Skills NeededA bit of everything in the admin/office skills area. E.g., comfort with photocopier, google sheets and document computer skills, sorting and organizing

Database Expert
SpecificsDo you love spreadsheets and organizing data? We’re building a resource database that needs your help!
Time CommitmentOnce you understand the database this one is something you can work on in your time, all in one go or here or there to fit in with your schedule.
Skills NeededA love of organizing data to make it accessible to users. Skills with Google Sheets

Fundraising
SpecificsThe HUB needs assistance executing fundraising plan that is concentrated on personal requests to Major Donors and grants. Would you be interested in joining our team?
Time CommitmentA few hours a week, more around the occasional event
Skills NeededIdentifying and applying for grants. Identifying and presenting to major donors. Experience with Bloomerang or a similar donor database would be useful.

Garden Coordinator
SpecificsKeep volunteer list updated, schedule and coordinate periodic work sessions (half days) to maintain permaculture garden and native flowers bank, supervise weeding and planting
Time CommitmentHalf-day communication and half-day supervision monthly in season
Skills NeededKnowledge of common plants and gardening techniques, enthusiasm for leading a team of volunteers

Mailing List
SpecificsUpdate mailing lists (general, donors, volunteers) periodically
Time CommitmentFew hours a month
Skills NeededExcel/database experience, attention to detail

Marketing Materials Creator
SpecificsWe want to create a few marketing pieces.
Time CommitmentA few hours in May and June
Skills NeededExperience creating graphics or proofing graphics. Experience taking a project through from a design brief to finished printed product.

Newsletters
SpecificsWork with a team to produce electronic newsletters 4 to 6 times yearly: write copy, obtain photos, manage mailings.
Time CommitmentSeveral hours every 6 weeks
Skills NeededWriting, photographing, coordinating content with team, experience with Mailchimp/Constant Contact (or interest in learning)

Social Media
SpecificsCoordinate with other volunteers to post periodic photos and messages on Facebook and Instagram
Time CommitmentFew hours a month
Skills NeededWriting skills, image management, creativity

Town/Village Liaison
SpecificsFollow Town Select Board and Village Trustee agendas, attend meetings if/when discussions are relevant to East End Park; communicate with those boards and with Municipal Manager as needed, keep leadership team informed
Time CommitmentSeveral hours a month
Skills NeededInterest in park management, follow-up communication

Writer
SpecificsAs we get established, we’ll be doing PR in local papers
Time CommitmentA few hours intermittently
Skills NeededWriting and editing stories to create press ready pieces
